News from the 2000s

In 2004 The Red Sox won the World Series, ending the "Curse of the Bambino" since 1918. 

As if that wasn't enough excitement, in the 2000’s, The New England Patriots Football Team became one of the most successful teams in the NFL history.  Coach Bill Belichick and Quarterback Tom Brady had the longest winning streak of regular season games!!! They won the Superbowl XXXVI in 2001 and Superbowl XXXVIII in 2004.

The Patriots Cheerleaders, under the Direction of Tracy Sormanti, participated in The NFL Cheerleader Playoffs Competition in 2006. The squad has continued to be considered among the best in the NFL annually.

In 2008, the Cheerleading Squad went to China to train Chinese dancers for the 2008 Olympics!!  How exciting these events must have been for the girls!
