News from the 1960s

During the 1960’s , under the ownership of Billy Sullivan Jr., the New England Patriots known then as the Boston Patriots, played at four different stadiums; Braves Field (now Nickerson Stadium), Fenway Park, Boston College’s Alumni Stadium, and Harvard University Stadium. At that time, they were not a very successful team but they fielded some unbelievable players we all know and loved: Gino Cappelletti, Vito “Babe” Parilli, and the late Jim Nance.
